Both of these are examples of acoustic damped vibration.

Explanation:

  • Incase of the bell there is striking off the well at the side of the bed. as a result of this there is production of the sound. Due to the shape of the bell there is increase in the the sound produced.
  • it is an example of damped vibration because the intensity of the sound wave which is produced by the bell actually decreases with time due to air resistance and friction between the material of the bell and the substance which is striking the bell
