Dishes, floors, laundry, bathroom, kitchen — daily upkeep. Use non-toxic solutions that incorporate scents the patient enjoys. If their favorite scent is some toxic mess, so be it. Scent is very important to mood.
Fresh air, sunlight and daily short outings are very important. Air out the house everyday. Open the shades where they acquiesce. Respect their no most of the time with very little prodding.
Music and lighting are things you can work with. They might have some old favorites they haven’t played in years. Notice if they’d benefit from softer lighting choices and warm ambient light. Salt lamps and salt lamp nightlights are very homey and are also negative ion generators.
