We can't manage earthquake. Only mitigate its effects. Before the earthquake takes place no one is warned in prior. But still point like below should be taken care of
Staying in open space. Not in crowded area.
Avoid appartments.
Have things like torch, tents, sleeping bags etc handy for the necessity.
Food is more imp. Food like wheat floor or wheat should be bought in bulk for a year.
Meds keep it handy.
Water sources
How to move quickly out of the affected area is more imp.
But in the end again in will say nothing is decided it can happen anytime. God's wish.
