Hey mate !!
- The presence of soil is depends upon its area. For example, If we take the soil of Punjab and Haryana then the soil we found there is alluvial soil, If we take soil of Madhya pradesh then we found that there is black soil, If we take soil of Jammu and Kashmir then we found mountainous soil.
- And the crops also depend upon the presence of soil like cotton crop mainly grown in black soil and Wheat, Rice, Maize etc. crops are mainly grown in Alluvial soil.
- As you ask about my village/city. In my city the Alluvial soil is present and crops grown there are Wheat, Rice, Barley, Maize etc.
Hope it will help you ^_^
