hi freind
at first u have to know about time in order to understand it is possible or not. as u r thinking time is not that much special. it is not so special then what it looks like. don't make it so complicated as Einstein did. it is just a way to measure entropy of the universe because the entropy always increases but never decreases. it was just a concept adopted by some serious people who were very serious in there life. now come on the topic is time travel possible or not. I think it is not possible but as time dilation accur you can argue me with that but that accurs due to another phenomenon which effects the way of measurement of clocks but the experiment which was performed by 4atomic clocks says that it is due to motion or time is affected by gravity. but in that experiment I can say that the kinetic energy of atomic clock was added to it's mass. that's why it become massive then before and distorted the space time or the way of measurement in my words.
so I can conclude that time travel is not possible at all in fact for those who are lazy like me time is just a stubbornly persistent illusion.

Nice question.Yes time travel is possible.According to Albert Einstein.
The fact is we are doing travel every moment.But the speed of time and us are same.So according to your time travel we need to either travel fast than time or less than it.
Most of the scientists think that we can travel future but not past.Future can be visited through Worm holes.They are still theoretical fiction.
Another way is if you travel at the speed of light, mean nearly the speed of it, then time's flow will be lessened for you.
For Example-you a 13 aged boy live in earth with your friends of same age.But for 5 year you travel in space in a space craft which speed is nearly the speed of light.
Then after 5 year when you comeback Earth, you are 18 but your friends will be playing with their grand children!!!
So this is time travel...
