There are many unfair practices used in elections. Some of them are:

1. Making a lot of fake promises.

2. Bribing voters. Serving liquor free to innocent voters.

3. Accusing other contestants.

4. Raiding and seizing polling booths.

5. Hurting , intimidating and killing other contestants.

6. Using government resources.

7. Using public funds.

8. Manipulating the voter list.

9. Obstructing the voters.

10. Using black money.

11. Sometimes it is seen that many false names are included in the voters list and many genuine names are often excluded.

12. The candidates with a lot of money often bribe people and the common mass end up selecting the wrong candidate.

13. Many a times we see that the people belonging to a particular party barge into the booths which leads to 'booth capturing'.
