what us different states of matters ?
Answers
Explanation:
There are five different states of matter
1.Solid
2.Liqulid
3. Gas
4. Bec entinsten theory
5.Plasma
There are 5 States of matter:-
- Solid
- Liquid
- Gas
- Plasma
- BEC(Bose Einstein condensate
Short Explanation:-
Solid:-
Solid matter is composed of tightly packed particles. A solid will retain its shape; the particles are not free to move around.
Liquid:-
Liquid matter is made of more loosely packed particles. It will take the shape of its container.
Gas:-
Gas is a state of matter that has no fixed shape and no fixed volume. Gases have lower density than other states of matter, such as solids and liquids. There is a great deal of empty space between particles, which have a lot of kinetic energy. ... The particles exert more force on the interior volume of the container.
Plasma:-
When any extra energy is given to gas through heating or electricity the particles of gas split in smaller pieces. They are very hot and glow this is known as plasma.
BEC:-
In 1920, Indian physicist Satyendra Nath Bose had performed some calculations for the fifth state of matter Building on his calculations. Albert Einstein predicted a new state of matter the Bose-Einstein Condensite (BEC). In 2001. Eric A Correll, Wolfgang Ketterle and Carl E. Wieman of USA received Nobel Prize in physics for achleving Bose-Einstein Condensation. The BEC is formed by cooling a gas of extremely low density, about one hundred thousand the density of normal air, to super low temperature.
