A normal salt has no replaceable H+ or OH- ion in the molecule.ex.NaCl,K2SO4,KNO3 etc.Basic salt has OH- ion in the molecule.ex.CuCO3.Cu(OH)2 . Acidic salt has H+ ion in the molecule.ex NaHCO3,KHSO4 , K2HPO4 etc. ... For example if you put NaCl into water, Na comes from NaOH and Cl comes from HCl.
