Victor's description of Elizabeth gives the reader a rather sexist viewpoint on men and women. It gives one a view that women prefer change, are not as concerned about concrete and important ideas, not short-tempered but given that they have lost their temper, they would react extremely and they preferred to indulge in imaginations compared to their male counterparts. However men are shown in their stereotyped notions of being action-oriented, intellectual and short-tempered. The man was concerned about reality while the woman was lost in created worlds of the writers.
A condemning and looking down upon women is very explicit.
