what visible changes came in the dog after he spent two weeks at the surgery
Answers
Explanation:
The question is referenced from the story The Triumph of Surgery
The main character is Dr Herriot, who was a veterinary doctor. He save the life of Tricki who was extremely ill. Tricki was not eating anything. In order to take the dog with him, doctor told her master that the dog needed some days in hospital. Doctor put the dog in an isolated room where he just gave him water. This somehow made the dog better and he started to return back to normal life
Tricki underwent a complete transformation during the two weeks at the surgery.
When Tricki the dog came to the vet for treatment, he was heavily overweight and looked ‘bloated’. Also, his eyes were ‘bloodshot’ and his tongue ‘lolled’ onto one side. He also had trouble walking and had stopped eating. Instead, Tricki was suffering from bouts of vomiting.
At the surgery, the doctor set up a new regime for Tricki. Accordingly, Tricki gradually became less lethargic and more active. He visibly lost weight and even started taking interest in food again.
When it was time to go home, Tricki had changed from the ‘sausage’ that he had been, to a ‘lithe, hard-muscled animal’ that could run around with the other dogs. The dog that could hardly walk earlier, leaped into Mrs.Pumphrey’s lap.
