Answer:

0.428 L and 0.572 L.

Explanation:

It is question from Molarity

We have Dilution formula

\displaystyle\text{$M_1V_1+M_2V_2=M_3(V_1+V_2)$ For acid.}

Given :

\displaystyle\text{$M_1=10$}\\\\\displaystyle\text{$M_2=3$}\\\\\displaystyle\text{$M_3=6$}

Let volume of 10 M be x L

So volume will be 1 - x L for 3 M

Now put the values in formula we get

10 ( x ) + 3 ( 1 - x ) = 6 ( x + 1 - x )

10 x + 3 - 3 x = 6 ( 1 )

7 x = 6 - 3

7 x = 3

x = 3 / 7 L

x = 0.428 L

So volume for 10 M = 0.428 L

And volume for 3 M = 1 - 0.428 = 0.572 L.

Thus we get answer.
