initial volume of 2.4M soln=200ml

initial volume of 1.36M soln=x

final volume of 1.24M soln=500ml

so

M1V1+M2V2=MV

1.36x+2.4*200=1.24*500

1.36x=620-480

x=140/1.36

x=103 ml
