Answer is A

the equation is

CaCO3 + 2HCl  --- >  CaCl2 + CO2 + H2

Given that there is 1g of CaCO3

so no of moles = mass/Mr

no of moles of CaCO3 is 1/(40+12+48) = 1/100 = 0.01 mol

There will be 0.01 mol of CO2 will be formed.

1 mole of gas occupies 22.4L at STP.

0.01 mol --> ??

x/0.01 = 22400ml/1

x= 224ml

therefore, 0.01 mol of CO2 will form 224ml
