Answer: is  4.2

Explanation: c2h2= 2co2 + 1/2h20

therefore, 1 mole of C2H2= 2moles of CO2

i.e  22.4L C2H2= 44.8L CO2

1L= 1dm3

therefore, to produce 8.4 dm3 of CO2 from C2H2

it requires[ 8.4dm3 x 22.4dm3]/44.8dm3= 4.2dm3...
