In about 594AD Chinese developed an art of hand printing. They made a traditional Chinese 'accordion book' which was folded and stitched at a side because the traditional rubbing paper could be printed on one side only.
Features of hand printing in China:-
- It became an important part as for the bureaucratic works or civil service exams by imperial state in China.
- This traditional woodblock printing as first came in China spreaded to entire world which later gave new ideas for modern art.
