The bow of Arjun of epic Maha Bharata was known as Gandiva.

This was the  bow of  Arjuna, one of the Pandeva family  from Hindu epic Mahabharata.

The bow was made and presented to Arjun by brahmana gave it to Arjuna along with a Kapi/ Hanuman branded  chariot, and two never exhausting quivers, as was requested during the Khandava-Ban dahan.

The bow of the famous archer, archer Arjun of epic Maha Bharata was known as Gandiva. Agni who was the God of fire now wanted to clear off the Khandava forest so that he could regain his power and splendour. He had enlisted the help of the two heroes, Krishna and Arjuna for this purpose. So he gave the Gandiva bow to Arjun as well as two quivers which would provide an inexhaustible number of arrows so that he could have his goal completed.
