Nelson Mandela was tried for treason by the white South African government. He and seven other leaders were sentenced to life imprisonment in 1964 for opposing the apartheid system. He spent the next 28 years in South Africa’s most feared prison, Robben Island. Mandela was the first president of the new South Africa after the struggle ended.

Rule of White People : In this rule, all white people follow the policy of apartheidism. They thought that black have no right to study or live with the white peoples.
Rule of Nelson Mandela : In this rule ,Nelson Mandela follow the policy of having a good society by removing apartheidism . He thought that there is no difference between white and black people both of them have equal rights . All people have equal rights without making any discrimination of race , caste , religious etc.
