hey dear sweet friend here is your answer

Scientific forestry refers to a system of cutting old trees by the forest department and planting new ones  in straight rows.
According to the 1878 Forest Act, three  categories of forest were to be designated by the colonial govt. They were Reserved, protected, and village.

<b>Features of scientific forestry are:

Natural forest which had lots of different types of trees were cut down.

Only one type of tree was planted.

Forest officials surveyed the forest.

They made working plans for forest management.

They planned how much of the plantation area to cut every year.

The area cut was then to be replanted so that it was ready to be cut once again.
