Under this system, administration was to be handled by nawab of bengal itself but revenue was to be collected by East India Company and nawab has no right over revenue collection. Also, a deputy Subhadar was appointed by East India Company and power ultimately was in his hands only and nawab of bengal had no right to remove him. By appointing this deputy Subhadar, company controlled the nizamat or the police and judicial rights too. As a result, neither nawab nor deputy subhadar cared about people and ultimately they suffered.
