earlier when John saw Helen the ghost he did not want Lavinia to See her. reason he thought after seeing the ghost lavinia would either doubt John or become afraid but later he observed that nothing of what he had thought happened instead after the truth about Helen the ghost was revealed lavinia was satisfied to know that her husband loved her equally as she did and no other lady was between them to compete Lavinia.....
