The conflict was that Helen Keller developed a disease that made her go blind and deaf. she had to read Braille and feel hand movements. although she couldn't see . she loved nature and every living thing. As a child Helen would go crazy when she didn't get what she wanted. She would take her hair and rap it like a bun when she wanted her mother. she would also point to her hand when she wanted some bread . once she locked her mother in the pantry for many hours. her mother would yell and bang on the pantry door but Helen couldn't hear or see the pantry door try to open.
