Holocaust was a unique event in history and also referred as Shoah, a genocide that occurred in Adolf Hitler's rule in Nazi Germany. In this holocaust, 6 million Jews were killed during World War II. It was entirely planned ahead, systematic, bureacratic and sponsored by the state to carry out the mass murder of Jews as Jews were considered inferior to Germans.

when the German were preoccupied with their own plight as a defeated nation emerging out of the rubble, the Jews wanted the world to remember the Atrocities and sufferings they had endured during the Nazi killing operations- also called the HOLOCAUST.
