What was Indian forest service?? Who introduced it during the colonialism period??

The Government of India Act 1935, which transferred forestry to Provisional list, resulted in abolition of the IFS training. Indian Forest College was established in 1938. The Superior Forest Service officers, recruited from different states, were trained in the Indian Forest College.
