It is called “LAW OF INERTIA”.

Simply, If you put a ball on a flat surface, it will keep there motionless.... However, once you press a finger on one side, it will start rolling down in a constant velocity.

Similarly, a ball keep goes in a straight line until a finger or an object strike on it.
