European feudal system was effective which was indicated by its similarity in Asian countries.   Japan and China followed similar land administration systems in their respective countries.   The European feudal system flourished after the downfall of the Roman Empire and was followed by several other countries in the future.   This gave additional powers to the church and after Concardt of Worms, the Pope declared Henry V as a law abiding king.
