Private quelch is a tall and stooping soldier.He had a nickname called "Professor" due to his behaviour and appearance.Private quelch is dutifully listening during the class hours and try to correct the teacher's explanation .This is what happened in the sergeant Turnbull's class too.He lacked in discipline.He is a notorious student among his batch.His attitude towards the sergeant is in a disrespectful way and made the sergeant to take revenge.When one of them shone,he tries to outshone.He is sincere in learning and very ambitious.But due to his indisciplinary way of behaving with teachers, he became a man whom others would make fun of.
