Yes, actually he has more justification for his anger than Antonio.

Antonio insulted him and called him a dog in front of everyone.He spat on him.He abused him and called him thief too .

And all this for a puny reason, he is a jew. So , it is justified.

(Do not get a bad impression of me for supporting Shylock, I only support the truth, and do not like Shylock.)
