Subsistence crises is basically changes in the economic factors for example higher prices which are usually caused by either natural or man-made factors. In the context of French revolution this problem raised in the 18th century the population of France rose from 23 million to 28 million . There was higher demand and it was difficult to synchronize the demand with the production . The price of products increased with no increment in the wages which increased the gap in rich and poor .
