Answer:
- Dayananda Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj and Swami Shraddhanand, were the pioneers of the modern gurukul system, who in 1886 founded now-widespread Dayanand Anglo-Vedic Public Schools and Universities. In 1948 Swami Shraddhanand’s did the same and established the first Swaminarayan Gurukul at Rajkot in Gujarat. Several gurukuls have recently opened to trace the roots of Indian culture. This push is being driven by government, academics and parents.
- Simplicity of life, a strict schedule and respect for the teacher are principles emphasized in a gurukul. Equality and independence are inculcated in the students by everyone cleaning up and picking up their rubbish. Spirituality is imparted to students through prayer, yoga and meditation. In today's competitive world, this can help kids relieve stress and anxiety. Vedic education is more than an educational system, it is a way of life. This focus on the overall development of the personality is an attractive aspect of Vedic training.
- Aims of Vedic Education Directed the 'Punjab Arya Pratinidhi Sabha' and launched its monthly magazine Arya Musafir. In 1902 he founded a gurukul in Kangri, India, near Haridwar. This school is now recognized as Gurukul Kangri University. In 1917 Mahatma Munshi Ram accepted sannyas as Swami Shradhanand Saraswati.
