What was system of voting in the state general?What change did 3 state want in this system?

It was one estate one vote.They wanted every person to have 1 vote individually.

The voting system in the state general was that one state can give one vote. When vote is being done interest of first and second estate people are always same. So they, give the vote in one side means 1+1 = 2 & the third estate people give the vote in opposite side because their interest is not same.
The change that the third estate wanted to form new parliament.
