Partition of Bengal was because of the following reasons:

1) After Independence of India in 1947, muslims were against the rules and regulations.

2) Mohd. Ali Jinnah was the leader of Muslim league at that time, and he proclaimed to muslims to have a separate country for muslims.

3) Because of that many people travelled from India to Pakistan and vice-versa.

4)People near to Pakistan for living in North India had travelled easily.

5)Problem was with others who live in South India or East India , so they proclaimed to have a separate country in east which later became Bangladesh.

Bangladesh was also known as west Pakistan
