Hitler believed in the aryan supremacy theory, that is, the aryans were better than any other races in all aspects. He expected Luz Long to win the broad jump but eventually, Jesse Owens won and this infuriated him. He had been proved wrong and he was frustrated. When in the end Luz Long was congratulating Jesse Owens for his victory with a handshake, Hitler was glaring at them from the stands less than a hundred yards away.

I hope it helps!
