Franz had got late in reaching the school; as he neared the school he found it unusually quiet.  He was stunned to see the class benches occupied to full capacity. Even the elders were present. Mr. Hamel too, in his best clothes ready to begin teaching. Feeling everyone’s stare he felt embarrassed for being late. His anxiety was M. Hamel would scold him for being late. However, he did not say anything to him and asked him to take his seat.
