Apartheid was a type of discrimination unique to South Africa.
Black people were considered inferior.
They weren't allowed to stay or do anything near the whites.
Soon, black people along with white people who were against apartheid started to protest.
Soon, the British government stopped the policy of apartheid.

This policy is associated mostly with S.Africa.
Policy of Apartheid was based on

1. Coloir of the skin- The blacks were disrminated by the White English men.
2. With the enactment of apartheid laws in 1948, racial discrimination was institutionalized.
3. It was based on racial segregation (separation of blacks )
4. Example- No marriage between non-whites. The presence of some white only jobs.
