Vernacular novels Helped in people to understand the novels better, especially the people who are not familiar with the written style of English.

Since it is the Language spoken by all, it helped to bring a sense of shared world among people of various walks of life.

Colonial Administrators found Vernacular novels a valuable source of information about native life and customs, the various castes and communities in India, Thus hekping them to govern more efficiently.

Novel were written in vernacular language because :-1. The common people can easily understand it. Novel explored the world women by describing their problems, experience etc. Novel were real, believable, becoz these were related to life of common people, there problems and their struggles.
