Answer: Nawab Sirajuddaulah was a strong ruler. He refused to grant  company concessions, demanded large tributes for the companies right to trade, denied it right to mint coins and stopped it from extending fortifications. He also accused the company of dishonest behavior. Whereas the company was writing disrespectful letters, trying to humiliate the nawabs and refused to pay taxes. They also declared the unjust demands of local rulers. These problems lead to the battle of plassey.
