Komaram Bheem was a great Adivasi/tribal leaders of our country. He gave the very popular slogan ‘Jal Jangal Jameen’ ( This means Water, Forest, Land) for the Adivasi movements where he stood against Nizams. He believed in fair place and wanted complete rights on all forest resources by Adivasis only.

Komaram Bheem was a tribal leader who fought against the Asaf Jahi dynasty for the liberation of Hyderabad. He openly fought against the Nizam's government in a guerilla warfare. He defied all forms of the Government's authority. He gave the call "Jal, Jungle. Jameen" meaning water, forest and land; he meant to convey that people who live in the forest have a birthright to enjoy all these three things and whatever is available in them or whatever is cultivated using them.
