I think something bad happened between her and a guy. maybe he cheated, or she was raped, or a boy was bullying her. i have no idea what exactly happened but just that something happened. this leads me to think that its something that impacted her very greatly if being in a sweet mood with pleasant thought brings sad thoughts to her mind. Or maybe it has nothing to do with a random boy maybe it has something to do with a man in her family that wronged her. it could be about her father that abandoned her. or someone she trusted and screwed her over.
