What was the cause of US involvement in Veitnam war?

the people opposition to vietnam (sorry I forget their names) has a little army when compared to that of Vietnam army. They didn't have good wepon to stop vietnam from defeating the war.so they requested the US military to help them.This is due to the integrity in the people off vietnam.every men and women worked hard for the freedom of theirncountry.t they helped themselves in wepons,healthcarw,and food and many more.
