Answers
Answer:
Today, people depend on the forest for herbs, fodder and tuber. ... A major impact of the Chipko movement was that it prompted the Union government to amend the Indian Forest Act, 1927, and introduced the Forest Conservation Act 1980, which says forest land cannot be used for non-forest purpose.
Answer:
Chandi Prasad Bhatt , founder of Dasholi Gram Swarajya Sangh , lead chipko moment in year 1973. These people used to get stuck to trees and said "kill us , then kill that tree". "Chipko" or "Chipakna" is a Hindi word. It means getting closely sticked. In India chipko moment was lead by Sunderlal Bahuhuna. This was a kind of non - violent conflict lead by villagers against contractors who used to cut the trees. It was an ecological moment. Moment was started in 1973 and ended in 1980. This helped us in saving a plenty amount of trees and contributing a bit towards ecosystem and saving planet .
Explaination:
So much heat right ? It's too hot at one moment. And on the other moment there is an unstoppable rain , flood all around. What could be the possible reason? Obviously being a student of such a great education system and facilities we all are well aware of the term deforestation. And I'm sure you have already make out that we are going to talk about the deforestation. To avoid deforestation the chipko moment was lead. People used to go and hug the tree and prevented contractors from cutting them. This was a non violent moment which was started in April 1973 and like anything it spread all around. What shocks me the most is this moment was started by villagers who are illetrate. They protected the trees keeping ecosystem in mind . And we being studying our whole life so called about "ecology" have what yet achieved is pollution environment and even destroying it day by day . This shows the level of self analysing power we have. We decide to flow with stream and do the same thing which all have done. This shows how much of our studies is implemented by us to our real life . And there is no "education system" responsible for this as we all believe. It's the way of perception what we study for reality or for just getting degree and passing.
