Answer : The code name assigned to the Indian Air Force Strike was - Operation Safeed sagar to support the ground troops that were the soldiers on land during Operation Vijay in 1999 Kargil war. It's main aim was to flush out all regular and irregular troops of the Pakistani army from the left over Indian positions in the Kargil sector ( areas ) that were along the Control line.
