life of the widows in eighteen century was totally inhumane and harsh for any human beingto live upon .widows in the society were told to were white clothes because people thought that they had no colours in their life after their husbands death . they were forced to shave and leave eating a variety of food . widows were told to stay away from the places of common people and were unwelcomed in any ceremonies as they were seemed as a curse for the society .
