Sirajuddaulah was defeated by east India company with the help of Robert Clive the leader of east india company in Madras.Sirajuddaulah didn't alow the company to have trade with Bengal and he locked up warehouses and didn't allow the company's ship to sail and the company interferred in the political issues of the kingdom and brought many territories under their control and this led to the battle of plassey
