Ali's daily routine was to go to post office early in the morning ,sit down on corner chair and wait for the letter which never arrived.

The chapter deals with the story of a old young man Ali who went to the post office daily in search for his daughter's letter.

Ali was a brilliant hunter who left hunting after he realized the pain behind separation. He had only one daughter Miriam who went to Punjab after her marriage and Ali was left all alone.

He went to the post office daily in hope of getting a letter from her daughter but unfortunately was never able to get it.
