It will be saturday.Because we know when their not leap year then one day adds on that date.Ex:= If today is saturday then their will be sunday on today's date if it was not a leap year.And if it was a leap year then one day gap that mean on today's date their will be Monday.

here 2008 will be leap year as it can be divided by 4 completely.So days will be add as follows:-
1st jan 2007=sunday +1=monday
1st jan 2008=monday+1=tuesday
Now 2008 is leap year so we will add 2
1st jan 2009=tuesday+2=Thursday
1st jan 2010=Thursday +1=friday
And we have asked about 2nd jan 2010 then
2nd jan 2010=friday+1=Saturday
