The Britishers started forcing the peasants to pay the taxes. Then Mahatma Gandhi started his third Satyagraha movement called as Kheda Satyagraha against the Bristisher with other leader like Vallabhbhai Patel etc. The main demand of the peasants was to not to pay the taxes.
