What was the difference between Bolsheviks and Mensheviks?

Bolsheviks believed in a radical —and elitist— revolution, whereas Mensheviks supported a more progressive change in collaboration with the middle class and the bourgeoisie. The central figures were Julius Martov, at the head of the Mensheviks, who opposed Vladimir Lenin, leader of the bolcheviks

Bolshevik is led by Vladimir Lenin this party thought in a repressive society like tsarist and the party should be disciplined and should control the number and quality of its members

Menshevik thought the party should be open to all (as in Germany)
