Non Cooperation movement:
1.It was started in 1921.
2.Due to jallianwala bagh, rowlatt act and mistreatment of khalifa.
3. Middle class participated in large no's. in countryside peasants launched movement against tadulkars,landlords. in the plantation(assam) fought against Inland Emigration Act.
4. The movement was withdrawn in 1922 due to violent incident in chauri chaura.
5. Women didnot participate in large numbers.
Civil Disobedience movement

2.Due to great depression of 1929, failure of simon commission, rejection of Gandhi's eleven demands.
3.In cities movement was supported by businessman,in the countryside rich peasant communities actively participated.
4.The movement was withdrawn in 1931.
5.Women were actively participated in movement.
