Comparison between Nationalism in India and Indochina (Vietnam):-
India-
1) In India nationalism began to fight against the suppression of British rule. Initially people were unaware of the fact that they were being suppressed indirectly by the Britishers.
2) The stress of being humiliated created a strong bond among the people and they came together to fight for their freedom.
3) The unity was evolved through many struggles and movements conducted by many freedom fighters.
4) Mahatma Gandhi introduced a powerful method of fighting known as 'Satyagraha' means insistence for truth, and it was purely non-violent.
5) India attained freedom in 1947 from the Britishers.
6) India's freedom struggle was purely based on suppression and ill treatment done by the Britishers.

Indochina (Vietnam)-
1) Vietnam was developed purely of colonial context and it was under the shadow of Chinese empire.
2) Vietnam followed the Chinese system of government and Chinese was the language of Vietnam.
3) In 1858, the French set up its colony in Vietnam as they were very rich in natural resources. French had undertaken the development projects so as to establish their control over the country.
5) French language was used as a medium of education to civilize and educate the Vietnamese.
6) Vietnam attained independence in 1945 but it took almost three decades to fight for the status of a republic country.

Hope this helps!!☺

in Indo China
the nationalist movement emerged due to the suppressive method of the French trying to Gain control for two reasons i.e. economic exploitation and civilising mission.
in India
nationalist movement emerged due to
1. WW1 created a condition due to which tax on the people had to be increased.
2. custom duties were raised and income tax was introduced.
3. the British in order to fight the war force the villagers to join the army (forced recruitment) .
these reasons gave birth to the though of nationalism in India.

plz mark it as brainliest.
