The Disadvantage Of Permanent Settlement;

1.The Britishers demanded huge revenue which was difficult for some zamindars to pay. Those who cold not pay the revenue lost their zamindaris and the zamindari was auctioned. So it was a very risky work for the zamindars.

2. The zamindars who could pay well, asked the people to pay a huge amount of money. The people who could not pay, lost their lands (ancestral ones too). 

3. After some years the market prices increased and the zamindars paid the revenue very easily but, it was not profitable for them as the price was fixed.
